NBA Africa Promotes Youth Wellbeing Through Basketball in Lagos

NBA Africa, in collaboration with Agence Française de Développement (AFD), has concluded the third season of the Jr. NBA & AFD Basketball Experience in Lagos. This initiative aims to promote the mental and physical wellbeing of African youths through basketball.

Over the past three years, the program has reached more than 40,000 youths from 54 schools in Lagos. The recent activities included a two-day symposium and a physical education teachers’ workshop, focusing on mental health, hygiene, and gender equality.
