In recent weeks, NBA Africa has been actively engaged in several initiatives in Lagos, Nigeria, focusing on youth development, mental health, and entrepreneurial support.

The Jr. NBA and AFD Basketball Experience concluded its third season in Lagos with a two-day symposium. This program, in collaboration with Agence Française de Développement (AFD), has reached over 40,000 youths from 54 schools in Lagos through basketball clinics and life-skills sessions. The symposium emphasized mental health, hygiene, and gender equality, while also enhancing the capacity of physical education teachers.

These startups were recognized for their innovative solutions and will receive financial support and mentorship from NBA Africa and its partners.
